Many protest t-shirt seen on the runways in recent seasons “People Are People “- “We Are All Human Beings” – “Feminist AF” and slogan like “Revolution Has No Borders” – “I Am an Immigrant” e “The Future Is Female.”
The new Dior creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri last season on his debut he paraded a white shirt that says ‘We Should All Be Feminists‘ timely statement not only for the feminist movement but also for the new role of madam Chiuri as the first female designer to take the reins of Maison Dior. And after making a stir on show, it’s no surprise that the t-shirt is now doing it in real life.
The Dior Tee has been apparent to the public in March in Los Angeles, worn by Natalie Portman with her big belly. Shortly after, Rihanna posed on Instagram as a result of her participation in the Women Walking in New York.
Graphically DIOR refers to an essay of 2014 Nigerian writer Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, ‘We Should All Be Feminists’ and a portion of the sales will be donated to the Rihanna Clara Lionel Foundation (CLF), the group founded in 2012 that supports programs for health and emergency for poor areas of the world.
As usual, there are a lot of controversy on the initiative but we go beyond, we will retail them for $ 700 in all Dior boutiques of the world and on Dior.com from May 15, 2017, as well as Saks.com from 14-28 March 2017.
